Socket Set Screw, L set or commonly called L Planting is a threaded round rod whose head is the same diameter as the body. in the middle of the head is made indented in the shape of a hexagon which functions for tightening. Tightening is done with a hexagonal axle iron key which is bent into an L shape. L Planting is usually used to lock round rods with their housings so they don’t rotate or come loose.
